I stayed in the hotel room where Gram died down in Joshua Tree. A little pilgrimage.
The managers told me about strange phenomenon--they had a photo up where a circle of red light shows over the door of the room. Others have recorded themselves singing in the room and the tape played back a second voice singing along!
I took several pictures in the room and also recorded myself playing guitar and singing. No second voice on the recording, but in one picture (only one), there was a red light in the room.
I used that picture in the artwork of my band's latest CD, by the way, called "Heartbreak Sampler."
