Did anyone go tonight? I passed out after a long day and woke up too late to make it. Whoops!

    Look forward to a report/review.

      Yes GO see it.
I think it is at the Roxy for a week.
I also liked the first version of this screened 2 years ago at
a film fest but this is far better - the biggest difference is the director (Gandulf Hennig )
got rid of the voice over narration. So now the whole story is told through the
      recollections of the people interviewed
(from emmy lou to keith richards and the other original burritto brothers
and Gram's family and friends) and some exerpts from a Gram radio interview.
It is an excellent documentary about a fascinating subject.
(**Disclaimer : I was interviewed for the film and it includes about 5 minutes of my silent super 8
home movies from 1968 and 1969 BUT it'sa great film anyway !)

Ditto! The flick is great - highly recommended. I think you can rent it at this point, but seeing it in the theater was better! It's totally well done and...kind of sad. By the way, I was pleased to see that Sid Griffin was the co-writer on this project. I have his biography on G.P., but moreso, was a big Long Ryders fan back in the 80's!
